And week 26 starts off much the way Week 25 did - I apologize in advance for the splotchy-ness of my face in this week's picture. My acne has gotten considerably worse and I wasn't aware that you were supposed to be selective in the acne treatments you use while pregnant, so I've stopped pretty much all of them until I go to the doctor on Friday and get the OK on something from the NP. I probably could've put on some make-up, but it's over 100 degrees these days and it would've just melted right off! That being said, we'll start with the extreme close up of Baby Brimhall.
Nothing really new to report this week. My heartburn has been slowly getting worse and worse, so Tums and Milk are my best friends! I've been incredibly uncomfortable due to the extremely high temperatures. Oh and we set up our registries at Target and Babies R Us (Thanks again Mike and Meg for all your awesome input!!)
Besides that, the baby has been much more active and Bryce has been able to feel the movements much more, which has been fun. In fact, last night Bryce and I were watching the US Open and the baby was going nuts! Literally it felt like the baby was stomping with both feet (or punching with both hands) on one side of my belly, and then the next moment I was getting hit on both sides. We've concluded that our baby is either going to be:
1.) A drummer (hands and feet going at the same time)
2.) A Riverdancer (this kid was seriously stomping all over the place)
or 3.) A Tennis Player (it really only happened while we were watching tennis!)
I think I'm getting closer to needing some maternity clothes... I'm starting to feel like Winnie-the-Pooh with some of my shirts BARELY covering my belly... I knew it would happen sooner or later!
More next week... Don't forget to vote in the poll "Will Baby Brimhall be a BOY or GIRL?"
