Week 32

Here we are, another week closer to the arrival of Baby Brimhall. Each week when I do these blog entries I can't believe a whole week has gone by! I feel like we aren't any more ready this week then we were last week - except for the fact that I can now sew a burp cloth like it's going out of style!! I've been making a couple every night and Bryce keeps saying "You're making ANOTHER burp cloth" - I look at him and say "It's the only thing I know HOW to make at this point, plus I hear you can never have enough burp cloths" (right? RIGHT? haha, make me feel better please!!)

One thing I can believe is that my belly is continuing to get bigger (and bigger) and Baby Brimhall is continuing to get more cramped in there, and if I thought I moved like a pregnant lady last week, it's even more true this week.

Case in point: Saturday evening Stacy, Brittini and I drove out to Long Beach to see Bryce's basketball team play a fall league tournament game. We got to the gym and over over to the bleachers (which we not opened all the way) and the lowest level about above my waist... now imagine my trying to HOIST myself up onto these bleachers so we could sit and watch the game. I felt ridiculous DOING it and can only imagine how utterly ridiculous I looked while doing it! Luckily no one laughed (out loud) at the round lady climbing up the bleachers, but at least I didn't need to get boosted from behind - now THAT would've been embarrassing!

We're heading up to Utah this weekend to go to the wedding of one of Bryce's roommates from college. Wish me luck in the car for 8 hours each way! I'm sure it won't be that bad! We're getting maternity pictures done next week, so keep your eyes peeled for those - I'll posted them as soon as I get them!

i actually never needed burp clothes...both my kids didn't spit up. only a few random times..and those times a little burp cloth wouldn't have helped :) plus I never really burped over my shoulder.. I sat them up on my leg with my hand holding them up on their belly so even if they did, it wouldn't be all over my shirt :)

receiving blankets..now there is something you can always have a lot of and they don't seem to be too difficult to make..you can try to tackle that one
