Ireland - Day Six

We woke this morning and headed to the Bunratty Castle in Limmerick to check it out. We got there and found out it was 15 Euros to get in, so we decided as a group to pass on this castle since we were planning on seeing the Blarney Castle the next day. We did take some pictures before heading off for Killarney.

There were tons of bird nests in the trees and I thought it looked cool.

On the way to Killarney we stopped off and checked out the Crag caves. They were really cool, but none of my pictures really turned out because it was so dark and cave-like down there!

This first picture is coming into Killarney. Once we got there and walked around town a little. Then we took a horse and buggy tour of Killarney National Park.

This is our tour guide, Patrick, and his horse, Billy.

This is the tallest mountain range in Ireland.

I think Patrick said this is the tallest church spire in all of Ireland as well.

This is the biggest lake in all of Killarney County.

This is Ross Castle, it's located within the park.

After we finished the tour of the park, we headed back to the B&B to relax a little. Mom, Doug, Bryce and I walked up into town and got some pizza (it might have been the best food we ate the entire time we were there in my opinion! haha!) We were all pretty beat after that and called it a night. Bryce's assignment for his class was due the next day so he stayed up pretty late working on it. It's no fun having to do homework while on vacation!
