Month 4

So a lot has happened in since our last post, I'll try and remember them all!! Harper is growing SO fast and changing every day, I can hardly believe she's only 4 months old! She has starting (baby) talking ALOT, sometimes she'll wake up and just talk to herself in her crib for almost an hour! She's also starting making this one squealing noise that's totally funny, but if you've never heard it you might think she's crying. I'll try and video it and post it soon. We took her in for her 4 month check up and she is a BIG girl. She weighed 13 lbs 14.5 oz (50th percentile) and was 25.25 inches (75th PERCENTILE!) At this same age Breckin was only 11 lbs and 23.5 in!! We keep joking that Harper may end up being bigger than Breckin!

Breckin is TWO and becoming such a little boy. He is turning into such a good little helper. His favorite things to help with are sweeping and unloading the groceries. Both tasks take longer with his help, but he is SO excited to do it, it's worth the extra time! He starting to talk more, but still doesn't say too many words. His newest words are: "word world" and "mel mo" (elmo) and "cookie" - it's really cute to watch him try so hard to talk. He still loves to watch Word World and Dinosaur Train (he now makes a train whistle noise when he wants to watch it.) He has really been enjoying basketball season this year (probably because he doesn't realize we're losing almost every game haha) he loves watching "ba ball", dancing to the band and playing with his friends. Between 3 coaches wives there are 8 kids, so we have a bit of madness going on at each game, but it's so fun!

Bryce is doing well, just started second semester, which means his zero period class has stated again, so he starts teaching at 6:45am. I don't know how he does it, but he does and he's great at it. His students just love him and right now he's teaching The Great Gatsby, which I'm pretty sure is his favorite time of year :) I'm still trying to balance two kids, work and our house, but I'm getting by. As Harper becomes more and more independent, it's becoming easier, so I do see a light at the end of the tunnel!

Harper had her first ride in the swing recently. She enjoys it, but right now she can only ride when Breckin is sleeping, so if I'm sitting RIGHT there, because he likes to push her a little too hard!!
