Week 25

So, here's the first official belly picture of this pregnancy. I'm not sure if we'll do the picture in the same place each week, though maybe we will and it will force me to go walking at least once a week :)

So far this pregnancy has been slightly different from my first, but mostly the same, if that makes ANY sense! I'm hoping this means that it'll be a boy, but I guess we won't be finding out for sure for another few months! I will say that being pregnant and having an 18 month old is HARD!! Even with as perfect of a child as Breckin in :) it's still hard! He just never stops moving, and I'm moving slower and slower every day!

As for symptoms and what not, I not really feeling sick anymore, which is a relief. I was super nauseous until just about a month ago, which made it hard to want to eat anything, which also made it look like I wasn't gaining any weight (according to the scale) but my pants continued to get tighter and tighter and my belly grew bigger and bigger, so my doc never said anything. At my most recent appointment (which was a few weeks after my appetite had returned) my doc commented on how I'd gained a lot of weight since my last appointment and I should be careful. Then he looked at my overall weight gain and was like "oh, you've only gained 6lbs. this whole time, you're fine." It kind of made me laugh because if you look at my belly, there's no denying there's a baby in there! :)

The baby is moving a TON, lots of kicking and punching. Bryce finally felt him/her for the first time last night, so that was exciting! I'd just eaten some chocolate so I knew it was a good time for him to try, and it worked. He said "wow, the baby is moving a lot!" We tried to get Breckin to put his hand on my belly and feeling the kicking, but he just looked at us like we were crazy. He has NO idea what's going on!! hahaha, he's in for quite a shock in a few months!

In other exciting news, Breckin and I just got back from a 2 week visit to IL. Something else I'll never do again is travel (alone) while pregnant with an 18 month old!! The trip out there wasn't too bad, but in the two weeks we were there Breckin grew and my belly grew and there just wasn't enough room for all three of us to be comfortable on the flight home! I'm planning to do a separate post with all the pictures and news from the trip in the next day or two.

That's all I can think of that's pregnancy related. I'll be sure to post more again soon!
